"While we are new at camping, this appeared to be a trailer park (i.e. cheap place to live), NOT someplace you would want to go for a pleasant visit. The place was filthy (both the grounds and facilities), our "new to us" 1985 RV was probably the newest rig there; the clerk was very disorganized/disoriented (not knowing which sites were available or even where they were); we did NOT feel safe and could not let our two 12 year olds "wander" far for safety purposes. We camped here in 2002." |

"This place is a full time campground which has the poor living there full time. The park will actually rent you a trailer to live in. While we were there we learned the town has been trying to close this place for years, due to problems with drug traffic and other crime. I live in town and used to buy propane there and dump, until we stayed there for a weekend on a shakedown trip before going out. Big mistake. Bypass this one! We camped here in a Truck Camper in 2002." |
